Advanced Laser Treatments at Glamour Beauty Clinic

Discover our range of advanced laser treatments at Glamour Beauty Clinic, including laser tattoo removal, semi-permanent makeup lightening and removal and Carbon Laser Facials.

We offer treatments using Q-switched Nd laser technology designed around your individual needs, whether you want to remove an unwanted tattoo, fade old semi-permanent makeup or give your skin a freshed, revitalised appearance.

Every treatment begins with a personal consultation so that we can assess your individual requirements, explain the process and create an appropriate treatment plan for you.

Laser Tattoo Removal

Ready to say goodbye to an unwanted tattoo?

Whether you want to completely remove an unwanted tattoo or simply fade it in preparation for a cover-up, our laser tattoo removal treatments are tailored to you.

Laser technology works by targeting the tattoo pigment within the skin and breaking it down into smaller particles, which can then be gradually cleared through the body's natural processes.

Because every tattoo is different, the number of sessions required can vary. Factors such as the tattoo's size, colour, depth, age and the type of pigment used can all influence the removal process.

During your consultation, we'll assess your tattoo and talk you through what you can realistically expect from your treatment journey.

Suitable for:

  • Unwanted tattoos

  • Fading a tattoo before a cover-up

  • Tattoos that no longer suit you

  • Partial tattoo removal

Semi-Permanent Makeup Removal

When your old PMU is no longer right for you

Semi-permanent makeup can change over time. Pigment may fade unevenly, alter in colour or simply no longer suit the look you want.

Our Q-switched Nd laser treatments can be used to target suitable unwanted pigment in the eyebrows and lips.

You may want to remove or fade existing PMU because you're unhappy with its colour or appearance, would like to change the shape, or need old pigment reduced before considering a new semi-permanent makeup treatment.

Why PMU requires careful assessment

Semi-permanent makeup pigments can behave differently from traditional tattoo inks when exposed to laser energy. Some cosmetic pigments may change colour or darken following laser exposure. For this reason, we don't take a one-size-fits-all approach to PMU removal. Your existing pigment and treatment area will be carefully assessed during your consultation before deciding whether laser treatment is appropriate for you.

Treatment areas include:

  • Semi-permanent eyebrows

  • Microblading pigment

  • Powder and ombré brows

  • Lip blush and semi-permanent lip pigment

Carbon Laser Facial

Reveal fresher, brighter-looking skin

Our Carbon Laser Facial, sometimes known as a Carbon Peel, combines a specialised carbon solution with Q-switched Nd laser technology to cleanse and refresh the appearance of the skin.

A thin layer of carbon is applied to the skin before treatment. The carbon helps attract oil, impurities and surface debris. The laser is then passed over the treatment area, interacting with the carbon and creating a gentle exfoliating and cleansing effect.

The result is skin that can feel beautifully refreshed and appear smoother, cleaner and more radiant.

A Carbon Laser Facial can be an excellent choice if your skin feels dull, oily or congested, or if you simply want a treatment designed to refresh your complexion.

Ideal for improving the appearance of:

  • Congested skin

  • Enlarged-looking pores

  • Excess oil

  • Uneven skin texture

  • Dull or tired-looking skin

Your Laser Treatment Journey

Safety Comes First

Laser treatments are powerful procedures, which is why client safety is at the heart of every treatment we provide.

Before laser tattoo or PMU removal, we'll carry out a thorough consultation to assess the treatment area, your skin and pigment, relevant medical history and any factors that could affect your suitability for treatment.

Where appropriate, a patch test will be performed before proceeding with a full treatment.

Protecting Your Skin

Q-switched Nd treatment is carefully selected and adjusted according to the individual client and the pigment being treated.

Appropriate laser safety measures and protective eyewear are used during treatment, and you'll receive clear pre-treatment and aftercare advice to help your skin recover between sessions.

Laser removal is not completely risk-free. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, pinpoint bleeding, blistering or changes in skin pigmentation can occur following treatment. Less commonly, complications such as infection, scarring or longer-lasting pigment changes may occur.

These potential effects and your individual suitability for treatment will be discussed during your consultation so that you can make an informed decision before proceeding.

Realistic Expectations

We believe good treatment starts with honest expectations.

Laser tattoo and PMU removal are processes rather than instant treatments. Multiple sessions are normally required, and complete removal cannot be guaranteed.

Some colours and pigments respond more readily than others, while certain pigments may be resistant to treatment or behave unpredictably.

Your individual treatment plan, likely number of sessions and realistic expectations will be discussed during your consultation.

Why Choose Glamour Beauty Clinic?

When you're considering laser tattoo or semi-permanent makeup removal, the experience and training of the person carrying out your treatment really matters.

Your treatments at Glamour Beauty Clinic are carried out by Our PMU/Laser Specialist and clinic director Shannon.

Shannon has worked with semi-permanent makeup clients since 2018, giving her extensive experience with PMU treatments, pigments, skin and the way cosmetic tattooing can change and evolve over time.

This background is particularly valuable when it comes to semi-permanent makeup removal. Unlike conventional body tattoos, PMU involves cosmetic pigments placed into delicate areas of the face, and these pigments can behave differently when treated with laser.

Alongside her years of practical PMU experience, Shannon has completed specialist laser training in the UK, specifically focused on laser tattoo removal and semi-permanent makeup removal using Q-switched Nd laser technology, as well as Carbon Laser Facial treatments.

This combination of specialist laser training and years of hands-on experience in the PMU industry means your treatment isn't approached as a standard, one-size-fits-all laser procedure. Shannon understands the importance of assessing existing pigment, colour, placement, skin and previous PMU work before deciding on the most appropriate treatment approach.

Experience, Training & Individual Care

At Glamour Beauty Clinic, our priority is to provide treatments that are professional, considered and tailored to the individual.

Before proceeding with laser removal, Shannon will take the time to:

  • Assess your tattoo or existing semi-permanent makeup

  • Discuss what you'd like to achieve

  • Review your suitability for treatment

  • Explain how Q-switched Nd laser removal works

  • Discuss realistic expectations and the likely treatment journey

  • Explain potential risks and how your skin may respond

  • Carry out appropriate patch testing where required

  • Provide clear pre-treatment and aftercare advice

Whether you're looking to remove an unwanted tattoo, fade old eyebrow PMU, remove unwanted lip pigment or prepare existing PMU for future work, you'll be treated by someone who understands both the laser removal process and the semi-permanent makeup industry itself.

Our aim is for you to feel informed, comfortable and confident in your treatment from your initial consultation through to your final result.

Your Consultation

For laser tattoo and semi-permanent makeup removal, your journey starts with a consultation.

We'll assess the area to be treated, discuss your medical history and treatment goals, and explain the process, expected treatment journey, potential risks and aftercare.

Where required, a patch test will be carried out before your first full treatment.

It's important to remember that laser removal is a process rather than an instant treatment. Results and the number of sessions required vary from person to person, and we'll always aim to give you realistic expectations based on your individual circumstances.
