COURSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Full payment for workshops is required before the date of your last course. You can pay in instalments by setting up a payment plan with us. The monthly instalments will be deducted from your bank via direct debit.
Please attend your course on time. A certain amount of time is allocated to each session and therefore we will always start at the time advertised. If you are more than 30 minutes late it may not be possible for you to participate in the course as the tutor would have to go over the same material again which is unfair to the other course participants.
COURSE CANCELLATIONS BY YOU
Unfortunately all our workshop and course bookings are non-refundable. If circumstances change, something pops up and you can no longer make a workshop or course please CONTACT US with at least 14 days notice before the first day of the class.
We try our best to price our courses as fairly as possible and offer good value for money. We therefore have to have a clear cancellation policy to ensure that we cover our costs and the ongoing viability of the courses. Unfortunately we are unable to make exceptions to this policy. This is to be fair to all of our customers and to allow us to keep our class sizes small with lots of personal attention.
We urge you to carefully check your diary to ensure that you are available to attend any courses you are booking with us.
If you give more than 14 days notice to cancel a place on a workshop your options are as follows:
We will be happy to transfer you to another course, space permitting.
If there are no suitable future dates for you to transfer to, we can provide a voucher code to be used which can be used to book onto another class. This voucher code will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
If you give less than 14 days notice to cancel a place on a workshop then your options are as follows:
If you would like a transfer, we can only transfer you to a future workshop if your place is re-sold.
Please be aware that in our experience it can be difficult to fill places on workshops at short notice. We will do our best to fill the place within this time.
Interest free payment plans are available for combined courses to help you split the cost. Payments must be paid by standing order on the same day each month. Failure to pay on time or in the case of non payment your upcoming courses may be cancelled and certificates withheld.
ADDITIONAL LEARNING HOURS
At the end of your course your tutor will contact you to advise you if they think you may require some additional 121 learning time. This is at your discretion and is charged as follows:
1 hour £50
1.5 hours £75
2 hours £100
Please be aware that you will need your tutors approval before you can be invited to work from Glamour at the weekends.
COURSE CANCELLATIONS BY US
In the unlikely event we have to cancel or postpone a workshop due to unavoidable circumstances or if we are unable to meet the minimum number of participants needed to run the which is 2 students, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible. We will happily give you a full refund the full booking fee or transfer your booking to another workshop of the same price, space permitting. We cannot be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
WORK EXPERIENCE DAYS
When completing one of our combination courses we will offer you the opportunity to work at Glamour on a couple of occasions at the weekend. You must have received your certificate for your chosen subject and be fully insured.
When completing one of our combination courses we work closely with other salons in Gibraltar to refer our students once we feel they are ready to start working from a salon. We will ask you for a copy of your CV to forward to these salons.
You are required to send picture evidence of three before and after pictures (where possible) for each course. These need to be approved before your certificate can be issued. You may be asked to supply more than three pictures if your tutor requests more.
